The Slovak List

The Slovak List introduces works by writers from Slovakia, a country whose literature has so far remained in the shadow of its neighbours in Central Europe and not available to a wider readership. Launching with books by contemporary women authors, the series will feature work that reflects the diversity, innovation and variety of themes covered by Slovak writing today as well as in the recent past.

The Slovak List is supported by SLOLIA, the Centre for Information on Literature in Bratislava, Slovakia.
