Abdessalam Benabdelali

Abdessalam Benabdelali is a renowned Moroccan writer and thinker and a prominent figure in the deconstructive school within Arab culture. His work bridges the gap between specialists and lay readers, highlighting the role of literature, writing, and translation in philosophy. Benabdelali is a professor at the Faculty of Letters in Rabat and editor-in-chief of Pensée et Critique. His notable works include Political Philosophy of Al-Farabi and The Mythology of Reality, between Connection and Separation. He is a laureate of the 18th edition of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Award (2022–23) for Humanities and Future Studies.
