Debraj Bhattacharya

Debraj Bhattacharya received his academic training in history from Presidency College, Calcutta, and SOAS, London. As a historian, he has worked on themes such as urban crime, modernity, and the Left experience of Bengal. As a social scientist, his interests lie in rural poverty, rural local government and migration.
