Aurko Maitra

Aurko Maitra is a freelance writer, raised in Singapore, who has been interviewing figures involved in Eastern Indian organized crime and political violence since 2018. His areas of interest primarily concern censorship and endemic warfare in hidden pockets of the region. In the past, his work has been published in the magazines Provoke, Agni and Third Lane. While most of his work is fictional, it is always informed by real-life counterparts.
