Sudipto Pal

Sudipto Pal is a writer, statistician, and data scientist. He regularly writes on LGBTQ+ topics as well as cultural and art history in major Bengali publications, including Anandabazar Patrika. A post-graduate in statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Pal works in a leadership role in data science and behavioural economics. He has built and led employee resource groups for the queer community at his workplace and has spearheaded policies, hiring plans and sensitization programmes for the same. His most recent work is the nonfiction Bengali book Samakamita O Bibartan which helps demystify homosexuality and its evolutionary aspects. Pal lives in Bangalore, India, with his partner.
