Teresa Präauer

Teresa Präauer is an author and visual artist based in Vienna. She has received numerous awards for her novels, essays and short stories, including the 2024 Bremen Literature Prize, the 2022 Ben Witter Prize and the 2017 Erich Fried Prize. Becoming Animal is her first work to be published in English.
