José Luis Serrano

José Luis Serrano was born in Ciudad Real, Spain, in 1967, and holds degrees in mathematics and history. Since 2006, he has written extensively on LGBT cinema, literature, music and art. He is a co-author of the homoerotic poetry blog La Taberna del Mar. His works include the novels Hermano (2011) and Sebastián en la laguna (2013) and the collection of short stories La tomb del chicle Bazooka (2012). The Worst Thing of All Is the Light, published in Spanish in 2015, is his third novel.
