Alžběta Belánová
Alžběta Belánová received her English degree with High Honours from Rutgers University and was a recipient of the Schaeffer Fellowship in Literary Translation from the University of California at Irvine in 2004. She has had her work published in literary journals (Asymptote Journal), in books published by Academia publishing house and Motto Press, and her most recent translation of Simona Bohatá’s short story ’Everyone Has Their Reasons‘ was featured in the short story collection Book of Prague published by Comma Press.
