Alice-Catherine Carls

Alice-Catherine Carls is Tom Elam Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She is a diplomatic and cultural historian of 20th century European history, and a translator from Polish and English into French and from French into English. She has published twenty-three books and hundreds of articles and essays. She currently serves on the editorial board of magazines in the U.S. and abroad.
