Charlotte Mandell

Charlotte Mandell has translated over forty books, including several other works by Jean-Luc Nancy: Listening (2007); The Fall of Sleep (2009); After Fukushima: The Equivalence of Catastrophes (2014); and Coming (2016). Her translation of Faux Pas by Maurice Blanchot received an award from the Modern Language Association in 2003, and her translation of Compass by Mathias Enard received the 2018 National Translation Award from the American Literary Translators Association.
