Angelo Del Boca
Angelo Del Boca (1925–2021) was a foundational historian of Italian colonialism, whose magisterial four-volume The Italians in East Africa remains a central resource for scholars. Author of dozens of volumes of history, journalistic inquiries, interviews, short stories and memoirs, his publications in English include The Ethiopian War: 1935–1941 (1969), Fascism Today: A World Survey (1970), Mohamed Fekini and the Fight to Save Libya (2011) and The Negus: The Life and Death of the Last King of Kings (2012).
