Collection: Jan Němec

Jan Nƒõmec studied sociology at Masaryk University and dramaturgy at the Janáƒçek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. The author of four books, Nƒõmec has worked as a journalist with the weekly Respekt, Czech Television, Czech Radio and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, among others. Currently, he is the editor of the literary monthly Host and a freelance contributor to the daily Deník N. Between 2014 and 2016, Nƒõmec was the chairman of Czech Writers Association. Lilliputin is his first book to be published in English translation.
