Collection: Ananda Lal

Ananda Lal, a theatre specialist, retired as Professor of English from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, where he also directed university theatre. His important books include Rabindranath Tagore: Three Plays and the Oxford Companion to Indian Theatre. He has translated drama from Bengali to English, and reviewed theatre for 40 years. He directs Writers Workshop, Kolkata, and runs Kolkatatheatre.com.
