Michael Balfour is the head of the School of Arts and Media at University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is the co-author of the books Applied Theatre Resettlement: Drama, Refugees and Resilience (2015) and Applied Theatre: Understanding Change (2018), and editor of the volumes Prison Theatre: Theory and Practice (2004) and Refugee Performance: Practical Encounters (2013)
