Collection: Véronique Firkusny

Born in Switzerland to Czech parents, Véronique Firkusny grew up in a trilingual, musical household that sparked a lifelong passion for language, literature and music. Her notable translations include Kateřina Tučková’s Gerta (2021) and Daniela Hodrová’s trilogy City of Torment (with Elena Sokol, 2021). Based in New York City, she is Executive Director of the Avery Fisher Artist Program at Lincoln Center and coaches opera singers in Czech diction.
